❓ What is the SCL?
The Sundered Creator License (SCL) is an open, creator-based license that allows you to make, sell, and stream content built on the Sundered ruleset — without needing special approval or royalties (until you scale).
✅ What can I do with the SCL?
- Create and sell adventures, supplements, expansions, etc.
- Stream or record actual plays, tutorials, or podcasts
- Monetize your content via ads, sales, Patreon, etc.
- Use the Sundered Compatible badge to show compatibility
- Keep ownership of all original content you make
🚫 What can't I do?
- Distribute the Sundered core rules or rulebooks (e.g., no PDF uploads or torrents)
- Imply you’re officially partnered or endorsed
- Train or feed Sundered content into AI models
- Repackage the system under a new name without a license
🎥 Can I stream or record actual plays?
Yes! You can monetize Sundered content on Twitch, YouTube, TikTok, podcasts, etc. If your revenue exceeds $100,000/year, you must register for Tier 2 and share 10%.
💵 How does monetization work?
The SCL is free until you make real money.
